Dogs-A Varied Interpretation

Have this as a teaser for your students… challenge them to the world of Satire…

"It’s different, you won't understand", nudging Leila said, "the 'Barking dogs seldom bite’. I often get surprised with the simple things around." Majnu who loves Leila is after her to explain that. "What is wrong with the maxim?” he strongly demands. Leila: "So what happens with dogs that don't bite? Do they change their 'NATURE'?"Majnu: "How could I tell? It’s none of my business to keep an eye on 'Dogs'. And, I'm not any sort of ' watch-dog ‘."Leila: "Okay! So dogs with potentially no tongue have greater ability to bite, huh? And the ones who don't have biting experience can stand higher chances to voice. They are best choice, then, for publicity purposes. Now I get the value of representatives and the criteria to be employed. The dogs with sound history of not biting get greater positions to be watch-dogs, for no one actively involved in 'Public Affairs' want to lose the appreciation- the ' Barkers ' win for them."Majnu: “I really don't get you."Leila: ”There I told ' you won't understand'. It’s really going wrong with the dogs of today. They must learn to improve their status”, she speaks resolutely, “for the times where only ' Dogs with seldom nature to bite ' would RULE the world.” The early they voice the more they connect with peers to get rid of the external influence, and convince them to sharpen their teeth for their enemies who believe ' they seldom bite ‘.”

Majnu: “When they can’t bite why to sharpen the teeth?” And please cut the crap now.

Leila: “It’s not the ‘CRAP’. ‘Mum dogs can be millionaire’ has substantially proved that dogs of today can be the Millionaire of tomorrow,” she smiles, “and after all humans have nothing to do with work and intelligence anymore. The dogs must learn a good and inspiring lesson from that. That is, really, an eye-opener.”

Majnu: “Now I get you exactly. You are surprised with the win of the Oscars of foreigners. They do every season though.”Leila: “Leave it you won’t understand.”

Majnu really got confused with the logically illogical expressions, but that must not have been the case with you people! Many ask me about something that I don’t understand; must produce such an expression. Don’t you agree? I must not be surprised. And by the way to be screwed you need not any SCREW at all, do you?

So you understand, or I should say….

This is your ‘Teaser ‘writing in the “Excused Visions “.

Online Tactics-Cater Your Future Class

I must not be getting messy with your potential as promising Teacher.
But here is a humble experience of mine to share with you. You must have gone
through my previous Posts, didn’t you? Even if you didn’t, don’t worry I am
going to write regularly whatever I could write to help you, if minded. Today I
wish to share a sample lesson strategy or you probably call it a Lesson Plan.
Planning is really a good thing. Even a failure owns the plan- ‘Not Planning’.
Online surfing and searching for the appropriate materials would add boost to your teaching style, believe me. Look for helpful forums where you could discuss the ways of modern technologies to incarporate in your methodologies. I am not at all suggesting the "copy and paste " policy, rather exploring and utilising material to cater the needs of your pupils.

So get yourself ready for Planning your performance in and, even outside the class i.e. Pre-class. Have a good presentation structure: for an example the following might help and give you idea to have built your own;

Subject:

Topic:

Overview & Purpose (What will be learned and why it is useful)

Objectives (Specify skills/information that will be learned.)

Materials (pencils,web, charts, etc.)

Information (Give and/or demonstrate necessary information)

Verification (Steps to check for student understanding)

Other
Resources (Web, books, etc.)

Activity (Describe the independent activity to reinforce this lesson)

Summary (Brief description of the Content used)

Evaluation/Self-Analysis (How well you did/What went wrong or right & why? etc.)

Have questions and ideas: ask and share. You are always welcome.

O Level Compositions

Hello there...

Some handy tips for the teachers New to O level system i.e. Cambridge Examination System worldwide:

Keep in your mind that it is not the system promoting Rote learning. It demands the candidate to respond in variety of manner, style, understanding, application, and approach.

You must explore the ways to enable your students explore their embeded abilities. Encourage them to think on the issues with their own approach and find the solutions to overcome their weaknesses, especialy of composition.

You might like to start your Composition lessons by thought provoking questions; like:
if you wish your students to write on "Teamwork" or "That would be wrong to criticise others, wehn I'm unsure of the concept". The better way, perhaps, would be the few minutes of prior writing discussion, lead by You. The two topics evidently are different in nature. So must be  approach towards each one of them.

Lets take "Teamwork", ask students, ideally, in a very friendly manner: what is their first impression of the topic? Do they have any idea what content it potentially require to construct a good, reasonable response? Will they write about the success story of any sport event and concluding the spirit of Teamwork, or they would like to emphasise the importance of working coherently of all the membrs of it?

I hope to writing more in the context soon, meanwhile take a look at
http://www.cie.org.uk for further help

see you in Posts... huh!

A Good Lesson Plan

I wonder how many of us has learnt that Learning is not a simple process. It is just not learning in a formal educational institute alone. That involves, peculiar to this era, a multi dimenssional approach and abilities. How many times you think before entering the class the way that would suit the lesson of yours? Boggled? Well that must not be so difficult. Just consider the followings:

1) Have you thought the Title of your lesson with respect to the Aim
2) Are there any specific Skills you wish to impart
3) Does your lesson demand for concrete Objectives
4) Is your lesson Time-challanging
5) Have you gathered all the resources for the lesson

If your answer to all of them is "Yes" then be confident you're on the right track. And if you think you lack all or any of them, we have always the room to get helped. Your'e more than welcome to post additions...
